can't go over it, can't go under it

just gotta go through it. looks to me like they've actually cut into this hill to build the road.

i'm guessing deep down there's logic, but for now i'd like to think i'm of superior intellect posing such questions as "was there an asphalt recession at the time, making carving a hillside economically advantageous?"

it does make for a nice fog in the mornings though.
