Unseasonal Weather

There's nothing the British public like more than a moan about the weather and they are never, never happy - too warm, too cold, too dry, too wet! During the recent warm spell the doom and gloom merchants were out in force and I heard predictions of an ant invasion, untold illnesses due to the mild winter not killing all the germs and increased numbers of wasps. Whatever the warm spell does cause it certainly didn't do much for this shrub - tempted by the sun to show it's tender new leaves, these have now been blacked by the frost that followed.
