A pleasant pheasant!

Got up early thinking I would catch a glorious sunrise.
It couldn't have been greyer.

On my way back home I came across this chappie and his girlfriend walking along by the side of the road. He wasn't impressed by my kerb-crawling or in his particular case, grass verge-crawling, but he let me get close enough to take this.
Showy little devil, isn't he?!
