Tiny Giants

I almost stepped on these tiny wonders today. Gorgeous violets were in bloom all over the arboretum today, and carpeted the grass with their purple beauty.

These babies were nestled up against an exposed tree root, and begged me to photograph them.

Seeing them reminded me of how fragile life is, and made me appreciate them even more.

I have a dear friend who is bravely fighting for her life, and without the support of a half-a-dozen or so friends, may not be able to take a walk in the forest and appreciate its color and life.

Please take a moment and say a prayer for my friend, that she may walk with me one day soon, and learn to embrace life, change, and love.
