on the way home

L had a travel soccer game in Arlington.

I carpooled with Kathy and her daughter J. L and J have been friends for years.

Dad and Lil came over to watch the game. Dad made tuna sandwiches with a little vindalu curry in them, mmmm....very good. Sorry though that I didn't feel up to the hummus and jelly sandwich.

The girls lost but played a solid game.

After the game the girls had a small party at Uno's (overated eatery)

then a good drive home.

Kathy used my camera to catch the evening sky on I-66 so I could keep my hands and eyes on the wheel.
