Tuileries regatta

We spent the afternoon seeing La Madeleine, walking down the rue Royale (with a stop at Ladurée), through the Tuileries to the Jardin du Palais Royal. We had thought about seeing a museum (l'Orangerie? the Louvre?) but the weather turned out better than expected, so it was nice to take advantage of that and be outside.

Lots of kids were enjoying their Wednesdays off school, renting boats and poles in the park to sail in the fountain.
