In and out of New York

- Left the house at 4:30 a.m., drove to work, took the subway via two transfers to Union Station in Washington, DC. left for New York at 6:30.

The Amtrak ride was very smooth and quiet and took about 3.5 hours to get to New York. This was the view when I stepped out of Penn Station.

Spent the morning touring our office on the west side of the city, had a lunch meeting and then took another taxi for a tour at our headquarters building on the east side. Then took a taxi back to the train station.

Am posting this while waiting for southbound passengers to board in beautiful Newark, New Jersey.
