Army of Flying Robots Life is Cheap
Army of Flying Robots 'Life is Cheap' (Feast of Tentacles 2008)
I have a question for you -
Who makes the best stew in Nottingham?
Answer -
Henry! Henry!
I have had the pleasure of sharing a stage with these guys on a few occasions including a great gig at the famous 1 in 12 club in Bradford. Henry was their incredibly friendly stew master and vocalist. Mmmm, what a stew!
This clip sums up the mighty force they were live and this recording almost captures their incredible ability to produce explosive brutality through grindcore, hardcore, crusty black metal and dissonant downtuned sludge. This should have been a classic on their hometown's famous Earache records.
A fantastic record that lasts less than 30 minutes, which is perfect, just like 'Reign in Blood'! The package looks great and is a serious heavyweight vinyl onslaught courtesy of the previously mentioned Feast of Tentacles, track this down and enjoy at full volume like a twisted heavy as hell Maxell advert.
Peace
