tennis

After a day working at home (really! Honest I did!), I went off to play tennis with Barbara. We are in a 'box league' which means that we are grouped with other people and meant to find our own time to play matches. It is very fun and Barbara and I always have a good game. She usually wins but occasionally I manage to get the edge. We both like to hit the ball hard whether we can keep it in bounds or not. Tonight I won 6-4, 4-6 and in the tie break by 11-9. We like to keep it close.

I tried some action shots but it was a bit dark for indoor action shots, and the editing to brighten them really didn't make the pictures any better. It seemed much harder than it should. Unless you were there! Then it was great fun.

After tennis I was off to Sharon's house tonight to collect Smedley. Sharon has new garden tables and chairs and a fire pit. She had expected to go on holiday this week and the money not spent on that seems to be in the garden. To be enjoyed by all, year round.
