Hanging around...

Heather was having a great time hanging on a monkey bar until it fell, cut her foot very badly and we are now hanging around in the waiting area of Accident and Emergency at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.

Apparently there are five emergencies and we're likely to be waiting for a couple of hours...

At least it's a queue that we don't mind being at the back off, she probably needs stitches, but on the scale of things around here, that's minor.

Huge admiration for all the staff who deal with upset children AND frantic parents.
