Rampant

These feather reed grasses are going nuts, growing so thick that I will have to divide them next year. That is the thing with perennials: they are only low maintenance the first year they go in. I wonder; if I had known that my better half would never really be able to help me with such work again after his back surgery, would have embarked on such an elaborate yard project? Probably not.

Doggie is especially low energy today so we just stayed in the back yard.
