NATURES FLASH BLOOM...

Every spring i see these beautiful trees blooming big beautiful white and red flowers, you can smell their fragrance all over the city...but i never stop to look and photograph them. These bloom quickly and the flower falls off and the tree blooms its full green leaves. I decided to take a photo of the flower for this site...but riding my bike to the other campus, i started to think i was too late again, after the high wind thunderstorm we had the night before. Here you have ladies and gentlemen, the last remaining flower within a 12 km road i bike, just opening for the only day it exists then falls off and waits till next spring...ENJOY...INTERESTING...WHAT I HOPE FOR...(photo by Iain Dewar)
