Aberdeen Pavilion (Ottawa)

On my run home the other night. Gem of a structure in my neighbourhood. Stanley Cup was contested there in 1904.

Built in 1898 near the Rideau Canal, it's a fixture of Lansdowne Park in south Ottawa.

From what I've read, Ottawa city council wanted to demolish it in 1991, as the Pavilion was in such disrepair.

Today, it looks brand new.
