They say strangers are friends you haven't met yet

I say this pair has zero chance of actually meeting and having a conversation, much less becoming friends.

I know they're just reinforcing their own personal space, but it reminds me of that 'boy germs' and 'girl germs' attitude that we used to follow when we were kids. Ugh, can't be contaminated by sitting next to someone of the opposite sex!
