Prevailing Wind
I saw this as I was walking and loved it, all the rest of the trees are the same age but sheltered form the wind, while this poor tree was too far across the grass for that!
I realised something from it, I must remember to bend with the prevailing wind or end up twisted and out of shape, I can adapt, change but must remember the lesson of the poor tree. Work is full of change and things coming from new directions, new influences, I think I have a handle on life when I realise I need to adapt again. Sometimes I don't want to change or adapt I want to stamp me feet and scream. Sadly no one will hear, I must take a deep breath and change. Unlike the tree I hope not to end up twisted and bent out of shape, let it pass, and get on with life.
