Pink sky at night
I had a phone call this morning from a barrister who wanted me to explained the figures on the cable theft report I sent to the crown prosecution services on tuesday. It's because they are prosecuting the individuals today who stole the copper cables my project put in on the railway. The barrister seemed really nice so I've asked her if they could let me know the outcome once case is finished.
One of my scheme project managers is working nights this week and staying in a hotel in London. She sent me a few emails today so we knew she was up and awake so one of my other scheme project managers decided to phone the hotel and asked to be put through to her room. When she picked up the phone he said it was reception and asked if she'd ordered cheese and biscuits. He wound her up for a good 5minutes before she realised who it was, everyone was p**sing themselves laughing including her. You can't beat office banter, it's so good for team morale and bonding.
Whilst cooking my tea tonight looking out of my kitchen window watching the world go by, which I love. I noticed the sky was partially pink (pic) so I googled why. It's because dust, water, pollution, or other things in the atmosphere that scatter red light. That is my fact of the day!!!!
