Rain or shine.....(in the words of Five Star!)

so far so good this week with the weather. everyday my iphone app has predicted constant showers that haven't happened. today rain was predicted at 9am and didn't turn up til at least 2-3pm! V exciting day today at 49, as John fitted the new boiler. he also informed me that the old boiler could be sold on ebay for approx £100! great news! met Triv and the Triv clan for nice lunch at the Millers Barn. heard two massive claps of thunder whilst sat outside (thought they were lorries breaking at the lights on the A610). back to 49 and carry on painting. finished at 5pm and went for a tootle round Fletchers reclaimed yard to see if i can pick up any coat hooks. Dark clouds looming on the way home and the heavens open. inside and took this blip after tea, when it's still raining. tomorrow, i am looking forward to Champagne Afternoon tea in town, with the legend brooks, TA and Mrs Hammo!
