In the midst of life

Disturbing scene today as I was walking across embankment gardens. Firstly there was a helicopter sitting right in the middle of the lawn and surrounded by tulips. Lots of people taking pictures and chatting. But then as I got close I realised it was a flying ambulance, and then as I reached the end of the park that there was a terrible accident out on embankment road. A truck, police everywhere, stuff scattered along the road, and something covered in a red cloth. Something the size and shape of a young body.
