Glasgow- street music

This Romanian woman from Bucharest was among the street performers this afternoon in Buchanan St. Glasgow. Another older woman, her mother I think was performing further up the street.

Although her English was extremely limited she made it clear she enjoyed playing Italian music. Is this not another example of our global village? a Romanian woman playing Italian music in a Scottish city to a Welsh woman?

Performance art and music are part of the city's lively street culture.


The Silver Man who I blipped a couple of weeks ago was in his usual position outside the Apple store.
