Bus Stop?

You may be forgiven for thinking so but you are far from right.

This was on the site of a training company I visited near Edinburgh today.

This particular piece of land is used by a company who work with engineering students to give them on-site experience as part of their degree courses. They are given a project to plan, budget, order and build, within the space of a week to extend their class-room and theoretical knowledge. The projects are always based on real buildings or architectural icons from around the world and built as scaled down replicas such as the Gherkin in London, the radio tower in Barcelona or Forth Bridge.

This is a copy of one of the buildings in a millenium project in Sheffield apparently.

At the end of the week, the company I was working with, pull it all down, clear the area and tidy up in readiness for the next group of budding architects.

So they never get bored with the view from their window!

In Tyneside for the night then home tomorrow.
