The Red buses and telephone boxes stand out in London against the grey of everything else.

I'd just witnessed a multiple bike accident just as they'd come off Blackfriar's Bridge and although not involved, I was deeply shaken as I thought of all of my colleagues that cycled and their safety.

By lunch time it was raining and I saw a nice lady holding an umbrella over a dog that had been tied to a lamppost and was waiting for its owner.

See there are some nice, caring people in London
