Trim Castle, Co. Meath

This is (part of) the largest castle in Ireland. I went to the Hill of Tara today, for the first time, with my friend Anne. Got some lovely photos there and was sure I had captured my blip of the day. Then we decided to go home by way of Trim and stopped to have a look at the castle.... It's an amazing site, very well preserved and with easy access from all sides for some great views. Anyway, I chose this one because I like the dappled sky and the light effect.
