Splash of color

A few days ago I picked up a small mandevilla to replace one I thought had died over the winter. Picked another on a whim, just because I liked the way it looked. When I started to dig the 'dead' one up I noticed new growth and abandoned the project. Not having anyplace specific in mind for either vine I assembled a small trellis from a scrap board and planted them together in the corner overlooking my driveway.

If they take to the trellis in earnest it should be a fine display as the summer progresses!
