getting crushed by herbarium stacks. never too early for that, right?

sorting c families today including a favorite (cactaceae!) and some others (cannabaceae, anyone?). some very old plants and very interesting ones too. honeysuckle (lonicera? i'm getting better at this. now if i can just remember what family that was in.)

a coworker who is moving to vietnam semi-permanently also gifted me with a venus fly trap today. i have a plant zoo going on on my porch now, more or less. need to go to calloway's this weekend and do some repotting.
