Harbour of Science

Today I went to the SimVis Conference 2007 on Simulation and Visualization. It was held in the VDTC (Virtual Development and Trainings Centre) in the so called Wissenschaftshafen.

The most interesting talks to me were about
"Lossless Volume Data Compression Schemes"
and
"Chances and Limits of Progression in Visualization"

On my way back I took some pictures of rotten warehouses near the newly build VDTC.
