More shoes

I don't know if I'm now subliminally looking for discarded shoes all the time or whether they are following me around. All I know is that when an old friend called me and I pulled in at the lay-by to have a proper chat I was distracted the whole time by the Invisible Man who was stood there trying to hitch a lift.
