Sunshine on Leith

Went to this fantastic exhibition at The Queen's gallery Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh. Some amazing artifacts, this is a Faberge Imperial egg made from platinum, diamonds and jewels, it used to belong to Tsar Nicholas of Russia, inside was a minuture portrait of the Imperial Russian family"s children, quite tragic as they Were all shot by the Bolshevics in 1917, on the orders of Lenin.

It is pricelesss, was bought from the communist government by George the 5th , the Tsar's cousin, for 250 pounds, and given to his wife Queen Mary.
This exhibition is for the diamond Jubilee and the artifacts are rarely seen out of Buckingham Palace.

Oh I took these with my little cybershot, was surprised as you ARE allowed to take photographs without flash !! here is a collection from todays as \I couldn't chose one.
