Lovely day today.

Not only have I managed to put up my blip on the right day for once, we headed off to John O Groats for an ice-cream.

Yes, the new ice-cream shop is FAB. I had a lemon meringue sundae that was just amazing....and it was snowing just as we got there!

On the way back I stopped to take a photo of one of the many cottages that litter Caithness...just abandoned, probably when the inhabitants emigrated. I love the sight of these houses now. It used to depress me, but now I love how they are still left standing. There's plenty of space in Caithness to let the dead houses lie dormant.
