First/last streetlight at this part of in Munlochy.
Bit desperate again tonight (...Blip-wise!). They, the Lighting Department, have been changing a lot of the lights about Inverness, and beyond, of late. The former orange sodium vapour streetlights are being replaced with brilliant white lamps. I don't know if they're LED (light-emitting-diode) based lamps they're using. In some ways their harsh light may make some night-time photography about town more challenging. Much easier with respect to setting white balance.
Cycling home in the evenings, and arriving here out of that blackness, these white lights are quite dazzling compared with the ones they've replaced. I find myself squinting on the darker nights.
