View from the Vane

Jim and Shiela are up for the weekend (in-laws) so we decided a trip up to the RSPB site at Vane Farm was in order - weather today has been a mixed bag - brilliant this morning (ie sunny and warm out of the wind) but this afternoon was a right old mixed bag...

Started of sunny when the walk up the hill started - enjoyed watching the wildlife and the odd glider or 2 soaring above - then when we got to the top we were watching rain bands move all over the place - decided to head down and make our way to the "Hides" via the cafe - great clouds for capturing on film (yes I am now showing my age but you know what I mean!)

Managed to get a few good shots and it is this one that I will share with you this evening....Have a good weekend.................
