Last week we had the kind of weather that we'd be glad of in mid-Summer, and some of my neighbours were out cutting their lawns. This week, "normal service has resumed." I've never cut the grass before May, and was beginning to wonder if I'd have to give in and start in early April. Thankfully not! A good coating of snow has slowed things down. There was about three inches of snow out there at the start of the day.
