Main Hall at the Natural History Museum

Late Blip.
It was either this or a squirrel; I was at the museum all day, so this feels more representative of my day...

I love the NHM , but I find it even more magical before the main doors open; I feel so lucky when I have the "Cathedral of Nature" mostly to myself. I reckon I was the only one in the main hall when I reached the herbarium (up at the top) this morning.
I find the symmetry of the architecture so very peaceful.
