Rocks

This is part of the window-sill in our study. I was speaking on the phone to a friend in New Zealand this morning and I noticed this collection of rocks that have built up over the years. Every rock was collected by myself and has a special story that gives a fascinating insight into the formation of our planet. I have an affection for each and every one of them (although the person who dusts this house probably has a different perspective!)
