Hungry?!

we ventured to the balancing pond again today... I cant quite believe we have lived here for nearly 7 years and never even heard of this place until now !

I have somewhere else to take the kids now and use up the stale bread!

apparently right next to the pond is barnwood park and arboretum I haven't ventured this far yet as the kids are just happy to feed the ducks.

although the ducks didn't get much of a look in today ...the gulls were starving (must have been) they were fighting and squawking over the bread we were throwing! as this piccy shows.

we saw a mummy duck with her ducklings but I didn't get a good enough shot of those (another day tomorrow) and we saw some horses.

would like to go back one evening when not so noisy..according to the boards around the pond there is lots of different wildlife one being kingfishers I would love to get a photo of one .

maybe a kid free trip to see one lol!
