Bugis street medicine

Bugis Street in Singapore used to be famous for transvestites but apparently not any more. There were some strange goings on this morning though. This guy was basically setting fire to some sticks and then burning passers-by before pouring water over their arms. Not sure what it's supposed to do, and I couldn't understand a word, but he certainly drew a good crowd and made it hard to get a decent shot.
