Ever So Goosey!

A sunny morning, so I strolled down to the river, where I found a large number of birds doing battle over a pile of bread that someone had left for them.
There seemed to be a distinct pecking order...
This Egyptian goosey was definitely above the salt, but had to give way to the slightly larger Canada geese.
Here, surely, was a metaphor for global affairs. If ever a country has brutally imposed its values on weaker nations it has to be Canada, right?
