Blades Of Glory...

...it wasn't - though for entertaiment value, it wasn't far off.

To be honest, from the moment Vicky and I came up with the idea, and certainly while I conviced the Head Teacher that it would be a great learning tool for our forces topic, I'd been a touch concerned about our decision to take the children (these fussy Egyptian children) ice skating. After 2 succesful trips, it was mine and Vicky's turn. Pressure cooker time.

To be fair, they done good.

One girl did pretty much do a summersault, land on her back, and frighten the life out of me for the period of 30 minutes after.

Note to self. Do take a medic next time, regardless how many times you are assured that there are adequate medical facilities on sight.
