Getting cultured

I didn't really do much in the morning apart from getting up earlyish and going to get my legs waxed, all ready for the beaches in Colombia. They weren't as good this time and the girl talked to me nonstop asking the most random questions. I was sort of glad to get out. Afterwards I went to the market to buy some fruit and bought an orange and kiwi juice off my favourite juice lady.

We stayed in the flat until around 3pm and then decided to head to the National art museum. It was a really nice museum, mainly based around very religious art pieces. There were also numerous sculptures of Christ on the crucifix which were very very graffic! We made our way to Calle Jaen after. It's a tiny little street which is old and cobbled and apparently haunted by an old lady who woes drunken boys in the early hours of the morning. It does have a spooky kind of feel to the road. We looked through some of the shops before stopping off in Etno bar for the famous, but nasty, absinthe. It had to be tried but there was no way I was finishing it, even with the mint and lemonade that came with it. I was glad I ordered the much tastier hot chocolate as well in the end!

Back at the flat we made tuna rice for tea, fooled around until the early hours of the morning and made the bed of Harry the new arrival.
