No Blue Plaque
Walking through Soho this afternoon, I came upon the ugly cement wall of a 60s block with this inscription to William Blake.
Wikipedia confirms: "William Blake was born on 28 November 1757 at 28 Broad Street (now Broadwick St) in the Soho district of London." It also says " the exact location of William Blake's grave had been lost and forgotten, while gravestones were taken away to create a new lawn". Poor Blake: born nowhere, buried nowhere.
