Loch Lomond from Gartocharn
A portion of Loch Lomond is the stretch of water in the middle distance and Ben Lomond is the large peak to the right of centre.
After a morning "gutting" our bedroom, we decided to take a run over to the village of Gartocharn which is just south of Loch Lomond. The reason for this is that we are attending a half-day camera course there next week. Wish us luck!
Maybe I should dig out the manuals and read them through.
I did take a photo of a bunch of brand new oak leaves first thing this morning while walking Rona. I was going to caption it "Oak before ash, we're in for a splash. Ash before oak, we're in for a soak!"
I have not yet seen an ash tree in leaf; has anyone?
