River Tromie

Woke to a covering of snow that soon melted except on the tops. Went to Glen Tromie to start the cycle in to do the Corbetts. But very disappointed to find they had covered the tarmac road with stones making it impossible to cycle. Last time there were some potholes but not too bad. So abandoned the original plan.

Instead cycled from where we were parked down to Kingussie, along the road then turned off for Loch Insch. Went into cafe for coffee then cycled round the other side of the loch and back to car. Went for walk round Insch reserve and took this photo.

Was given an external flash for my birthday - lucky me. Will be trying it out soon.
