Higher Manor Barn, Tavistock Devon

This morning we had a look around Tavistock and bought some bread, eggs and vegetables from the market then made our way back to the cottage. We decided after lunch to take Taran out for a walk and found the footpath to the stream.

Taran really enjoys a swim but he seems to go totally into his own world, barking and playing with the water. I had a job to get him out. We carried on with our walk over the stream and made our way past the Elephants Nest pub that was mentioned in the comments book at the cottage.

The weather here is overcast but not too cold for a walk. Eventually we came to the Peter Tavy Inn where we have made a reservation for Jen's birthday tomorrow., the menu looks very good.

Having past the church and after a mile or so further on we found ourselves back at Higher Manor Barn. It's really good to see Taran fast asleeep for a change.
