Farewell Grasmere, farewell Richardson

My couple of days in Grasmere led to a rendezvous with Sir John Richardson more than 30 years since I wrote him up. Here is his final resting place. His adventures were challenging. On one occasion, for example, he executed one of his party who had been engaging in a little cannibalism. His career was varied - explorer, scientist, naval surgeon.
