Nothing like a mid morning break up of your journey with a stop at Bettys in Harrogate!

Choosing your cake, waiting for your cake and devouring your cake was all rather lovely.

As was walking around the town, with a little shopping and a stroll through the daffodils thrown into the mix.

Then it was a slow drive through the Yorkshire Wolds, with a stop at Beverly before we arrived at our hotel, where we enjoyed a lovely meal with the children and then all collapsed.

This sightseeing lark is tiring!
