View from Stirling Castle

We used our bus passes and our Historic Scotland cards to visit Stirling Castle today. It's the first time we have been since the Great Hall and the Palace have been refurbished. The work on the Palace is astonishing. The craftsmanship is - long pause while I search for worthy words. No I'm stuck! It's beyond description. We took loads of pictures but can't do it credit. We need to go back - there was too much to take in on one visit.
