Sitting in the same cafe years ago, Kim had told Andy the decision. Kim was still amused by his response. Andy had seemed somewhat surprised. Not so much about the impact, but more about "how obvious it is that it needs to happen" he had said then. Andy had wished Kim well, picked up the check since he had suddenly become a gentleman and left, probably forever. Kim still missed his sweet demeanor, funny glances and excellent penmanship.
