Pirate Property
We headed out early with the fairies (Hannah and friend) this morning to Riccarton Market. Mission: Buy plants in the shortest possible time, so we could get back and pick up the pirate (Adam).
Great success, nearly 30 hebes for an average price of $3, plus a number of tussocks at an average price of $1.50. Simply the best place to buy plants in Christchurch. Not the largest but ready to grow!
Then we picked up the pirate (see blip) who was a little tired. Apparently the sleepover didn't involve much sleep. Then home and into the planting. Weed mat, plants, cover in shale - voila! A professional looking garden. Yesterday it was as shambles, today it looks "designer" - should have done it ages ago.
Finished at 7.30pm in the dark, absolutely buggered. Blipping and drinking (red wine for medicinal purposes) again!
