A Grand Day Out

Today was a day of travels: Annie, Fosca and Meike went touring around the Cotswolds and Wiltshire, racking up a lot of miles.

The first stop was Stow-on-the-Wold for sightseeing, shop-browsing and a light lunch. We couldn't translate "chives" into Italian for Fosca, so instead of resorting to Google Translate, we asked for a bowl of chives to try. They looked at us oddly, but a bowl of green arrived.

Next we went to Meike's old village. There we met lots of friendly people, and two very bouncy dogs. Annie's black jumper turned to doghair-white.

Next to the White Horse at Uffington. This is Fosca, about to climb to the horse, wrapped up against the biting wind.

Then back home, and out for a lovely pub dinner.
