Somehow this shot captured how I saw the beach this morning when Cousteau, Lenci and I met up with SR, Charly and Jimmy. It's the same place as this.

We had a lovely walk along the almost deserted beach; followed by a pleasant lunch at the Brick Mill Cafe. They've been moved due to earthquake repairs, and are pretty quiet. If anyone happens to go to Woodend for anything, pop in and grab a coffee. I'd hate to see them go under because of the repairs. They make a great coffee!

Lenci has come to stay for the day/night. So far she has been a touch bemused by the fact that neither cat will run away from her. She gets fascinated by them and just stands and stares. Until now, they have stood (or sat, or laid down) and stared back. She doesn't quite know how to deal with this new turn of events. Good on Bosco for 'manning up'; he wasn't at all keen on dogs when he first moved in here.

Anyhoo, been tidying all afternoon, and am now sitting with a glass of vino, looking forward to a quiet evening with the pooches and the felines.
