St Mary's Lighthouse

We went to Mum's friend's wedding today. It was in a lighthouse! We had to wait for the tide to go out before we could get across. Before the wedding, there was a buffet and some drinks. There were lots of little chocolates scattered across the table. I ate more than my fair share of them! There was also bubble mixture shaped like champagne glasses. Eventually Mum gave me some of those to distract me from the chocolates! Unfortunately I had my sugar high just as the ceremony started. I made everyone laugh by saying "shush!" really loudly (at the any known lawful impediment bit!). Eventually Mum decided that it was a better idea to take me downstairs to have a look round the gift shop until the ceremony was over. She said if I promised to be good for the rest of the day, I could get something from the gift shop. So I was a good girl, and a chose a little ornament of the lighthouse. That's what's in the bag. Dad gave me the money and I took it up to the till and paid for it myself, so I was holding on tightly to my receipt as well. We decided to head home straight after the wedding, and I slept in the car the whole way back.
